The X Factor Judges were looking amazing this weekend, and Sundays Semi-final saw Kelly & Tulisa strut their stuff in one of our favourite trends here at Flaiver Fashion - Metallic’s.
Tulisa chose to go short & sparkly, while Kelly opted for an elegant floor length number. Both girls brought some Christmas sparkle in the first show of December. With the finals next week, us girls here at Flaiver Fashion are getting just a tad excited!! eeeeeek!! Xx

On Saturday Kelly started us off in a colourful and quirky statement dress and with delicious pink suede heels. Tulisa then came out fighting in a printed puff ball dress complete with on-trend animal print.
On Sunday Kelly hit back in a flattering layered hem dress with a metallic belt and pink encrusted over sized earrings. Tulisa then tries to bring-it-on in a figure hugging gold panelled mini with cut out shoulders.

Inspiration comes from designers such as Derek Lam, Louis Vuitton and Alexander McQueen and their gothic inspired Autumn/Winter 2011-2012 Collections.
If you, however are not a fan of head to toe black, dont fear! Break up an outfit and give a hint of glam goth by adding textures such as lace and velvet . - For those of you that feel less comfortable about metallics why not start with accessories. A feature necklace over an LBD can really make a statement.
- The whole outfit does not need to be sparkly. Garments with pretty embellishment, sequin detailing or shimmering shades of fabric can look just as effective.
- Keep it simple. Think more 'lightly dusted' and less 'Tinman'
